OPERATION

Visual Inspection
Check for cracked welds or elongated holes. Verify Inner Boom End Plate torque is 90 FT-LBS with red threadlocker.

Mounting & Retention
Fully seat forks. Secure both Retaining Pins behind heels AND wrap the Safety Chain around the carriage, keeping the chain close to level (under 45 degrees).

Capacity Verification
At full reach (144") the boom's structural limit is 2,100 lbs. That is the boom's strength, not your forklift's safe load. Your machine is usually the lower limit, so use the Load Calculator to get the safe load for your forklift.

Lifting Protocol
Vertical Lifting Only. Watch for Pinch Points. Keep a 10 ft fall zone, and turn off the carriage tilt and side-shift.
